Hastelloy C22 Bars offer resistance to intergranular
attack, general corrosion, pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion
cracking. Due to the presence of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, and iron,
Hastelloy C22 Bar is resistant to corrosion in both flowing and still
seawater. Gas tungsten-arc, gas metal-arc, and shielded metal-arc methods
are used to create the alloy.
Hastelloy C22 Bars have slightly improved heat-resistant

Hastelloy C22 Bar is used
in applications that need outstanding resistance to intergranular corrosion, stress
corrosion cracking, pitting, and natural corrosion. It resists aqueous corrosion and is
resistant to oxidising and reducing environments. It is utilised in incinerators,
chlorination plants, and water treatment facilities, among other things.
Superior resistance to the reducing and oxidising media present in
the process streams is provided by Hastelloy C22 Bar. Due to its high degree of
flexibility, Hastelloy C22 Bar can withstand the harsh circumstances that frequently
exist in multifunctional plants. Strong oxidizers like ferric and cupric chloride, hot
solutions comprising organic and inorganic acids, formic and acetic acids, and acetic
anhydride are only a few of the chemical processing conditions that Hastelloy C22 Bar
offers exceptional resistance to.
The high corrosion resistance Hastelloy C22 Bar is best used in the
welded form in chemical processing operations since it doesn't produce grain
precipitates there.
